I believe that we are the experts of our own lives, constantly striving to navigate and understand our changing identities and our relationship to ourselves and the world around us. I aim to provide a safe space for you to express yourself and feel empowered, and gain the support you are needing to face life’s challenges. Together, we will explore your goals for therapy and discuss the ways in which you would like to experience change, growth, and healing.
I provide counselling support to clients who are experiencing anxiety and depression, suicidality and self-harm, stress and self-esteem concerns, grief and loss, religious trauma, relationship conflict, boundary setting and communication challenges, addiction and substance use concerns, as well as burnout and compassion fatigue.
I specialize in supporting clients with 2SLGBTQIA+ identity exploration including those seeking gender-affirming and trans-inclusive care, as well as Neurodivergent clients exploring how ADHD and Autism impacts their daily lives.
Using a trauma-informed and culturally-competent lens, I provide counselling support from an anti-oppressive framework that is sex and body positive, kink and sex-worker friendly, and explores various relationship dynamics including ethical non-monogamy (ENM) and polyamory.
As a queer and non-binary therapist with over a decade of experience working with individuals, relationships, and families in the field of mental health, I draw from a number of therapeutic modalities, including: cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, solution-focused brief therapy, feminist and family systems theory, attachment theory, and existential therapy.
I invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute phone consultation in order to assess your therapeutic needs and ensure that we are the right fit to begin working together. All individuals located across British Columbia, Canada and above the age of 19 are welcome.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors (#18518), and I hold a B.A in Psychology from the University of British Columbia and an M.A in Counselling Psychology from McGill University.
